Mayo Clinic Dental Reviews is a unique, multifaceted selection of relevant topics integrating medicine and dentistry. Presentations made by Mayo Clinic Faculty along with distinguished visiting faculty provide a balance of contemporary information with a comprehensive overview of medical and dental topics including integrated and collaborative patient care, research, surgery and dentistry.
Call for Abstracts
As part of the 63rd Mayo Clinic Dental Review – the Carr Symposium invites all trainees in an accredited dental training program to submit an abstract for presentation of original research dedicated to oral health research. Projects can be clinical, laboratory, or case report based. Abstracts should be 300 words, please see the link for more details. The top abstracts will be invited to give an oral presentation and compete for one of four awards. Deadline to apply is February 25, 2024. Click here to submit an abstract.
Target Audience
This course is designed for dentists, physicians, allied dental staff, PAs, NPs, nurses, residents, fellows, and students.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the interrelationship between systemic health status and oral health conditions in patients seeking oral healthcare.
- Identify Integrated care models, practice guidelines and innovative treatment solutions for patients needing complex care in dentistry.
- Recognize the impact of Artificial Intelligence on Healthcare during current times and future trends.
