Mayo Clinic Talks Podcast: Regenerative Medicine Edition

Saranya P. Wyles, M.D., Ph.D. and Andre Terzic, M.D., Ph.D.

Available until April 19, 2024 - Online CME Course

Regenerative medicine, an evolving field aimed at restoring form and function, is transforming standard-of-care practices across medical and surgical specialties. The traditional perspective of “fighting disease” is shifting to the increasingly actionable paradigm of “restoring health,” revealing a new and unmet skill set imperative for the developing healthcare practitioners.

Through a series of podcast episodes, Mayo Clinic physicians discuss the rapidly evolving fields of regenerative science and medicine, which are widely recognized as the future of healthcare. The topics include assessing new principles and practices that members of the healthcare workforce need to understand in order to safely and effectively delivery regenerative care to patients.

Target Audience

This course is appropriate for physicians, nurse practitioners, physicians’ assistants, nurses and pharmacists in addition to trainees (medical/graduate students, residents and fellows); and particularly relevant for primary care physicians who are interested in addressing patient inquiries about regenerative therapies and learning more about this burgeoning field.
