The course offers optional ultrasound and procedural skills workshops, providing both introductory and advanced concepts in ultrasound, airway management, and bedside procedures necessary for daily practice in an intensive care setting.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe evidence-based strategies for management of acutely ill and complex patients with multiorgan system dysfunction.
  • Identify need for consultation and communicate effectively to ensure timely multidisciplinary care as per the evolving needs of the patients.
  • Demonstrate Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) competency
