The Mayo Clinic Innovations in Gastroenterology and Hepatology 2024: AI & Beyond course is pleased to offer an in-person workshop focused on innovative projects and proposals in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. Led by entrepreneurship and gastroenterology experts Rena F. Hale, Ph.D., Manik Aggarwal, M.B.B.S., and Kathryn A. Schmidt, M.D., this workshop features a general overview of being an entrepreneur in healthcare, as well as tactile and practical tips for immediate implementation. This workshop is limited to 50 participants, in-person only.

Target Audience

Physicians, Scientists, Researchers, PhD, Data Scientists, Biomedical Engineers, Clinicians, Residents, Fellows, and Clinical Investigators.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize the evolving role of artificial intelligence and digital tools in management of GI diseases.
  • Describe recent innovations in endoscopic devices and techniques.
  • Develop skills for healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship.
