This CNE conference provides an overview of many aspects of oncology care including pharmacy updates, integrative therapies, nutrition, radiation therapy, pharmacogenomics, supportive services, ethics, updates in CAR-T, sexual health, a home infusion program, caring for diverse populations, and a powerful patient story.

The program content has been reviewed by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) and is acceptable for recertification points 15.25 in the following ILNA subject areas:

This activity offers 1.75 ANCC contact hours for pharmacology or pharmacotherapeutic content. Learners are responsible to determine if this activity will meet the pharmacology requirements for licensing boards or other credentialing organizations.

Target Audience

This CNE conference is designed for nurses, social workers and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of individuals with cancer and their families. 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Describe concepts of oncology care for the whole person body, mind, and spirit.
  • Identify updates in clinical and pharmacology therapies.
  • Outline the role of the nurse in oncology care.

Welcome to the Cancer Care 2024 CNE Nursing Conference. Course materials will be available at the registration check-in an hour before the start of the conference or online.

Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cne@mayo.edu.

If the cancellation is made prior to the start of the activity, a refund less an administration fee of $25 will be issued. If the cancellation is made after the start of the activity, no refund will be issued. All refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment.
